MISSION TRIP TO HAITI

Members of Central Presbyterian Church are going on a mission trip to Haiti from March 22-29, 2009. They will conduct some "Vacation Bible School" type classes for kids ranging in age from 6-8, offer support to Robbie Griggs (Associate Pastor of Evangelism and Discipleship) as he conducts pastor's conferences, and do some small work projects. The book of Acts (written by Luke) is a record of the early church and how it spread. Among the many exciting stories in the book are tucked in, life-lessons about the power of Jesus and His Gospel message to overcome any obstacle we may face. Since Jesus gave the words quoted above to his first followers, the world has never been the same and that same power is alive and well today. Join with us in learning how such a promise plays out in our culture and city.
